3. Definitions
- Account means the user account created by or on behalf of a User to access our Services.

- User Content means any content, information, or materials submitted, posted, or uploaded by Users through our Services.

4. Eligibility and Age Requirements
4.1 Minimum Age Requirement
Our Services are available only to individuals who are at least seventeen (17) years of age. Students under the age of seventeen (17) are not eligible to receive tutoring services through our platform, and we do not accept registrations for students below this minimum age requirement.
4.2 Legal Capacity and Parental Consent
To use our Services, you must either:
(a) Be at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law; or

(b) Date of birth of the Student (to verify age eligibility);
(c) Valid email address for Account communications;
(d) Valid phone number for contact purposes;
(e) Complete mailing address within the United States;
(f) Emergency contact information;
(g) Relevant educational background and learning goals;
(h) Any learning disabilities, special needs, or accommodations required;
(i) Parental consent documentation (if Student is under 18 years of age).
6.4 Verification of Information
We reserve the right to verify any information provided during registration or at any time thereafter. This may include requesting additional documentation such as government-issued identification, proof of address, or educational records. Failure to provide requested verification may result in suspension or termination of your Account.
6.5 Account Limitations
Each Student may have only one active Account. Creating multiple Accounts for the same Student is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated Accounts. Business entities, schools, or organizations seeking to create Accounts for multiple students must contact us directly to discuss appropriate arrangements.
7. Services Description
7.1 Tutoring Services
SBT Reading Tutors LLC provides personalized, one-on-one online reading tutoring services designed to improve students' reading skills, comprehension abilities, and overall literacy. Our Services include:
- Individual tutoring sessions conducted via secure video conferencing technology;
- Customized lesson plans tailored to each Student's specific needs and learning goals;
- Evidence-based reading instruction using proven methodologies;
- Progress monitoring and regular assessments;
- Educational materials and resources provided during sessions;
- Parent/guardian communication and progress reports;
- Homework assistance and reading practice guidance;
- Preparation for standardized tests and academic assessments related to reading.
7.2 Service Limitations
Our Services are educational in nature and are designed to supplement, not replace, formal education. We do not provide:
- Medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment;
- Special education services requiring licensed professionals;
- Therapy or counseling services;
- Guarantee of specific academic outcomes or improvements;
- Services outside the scope of reading instruction and literacy development.
7.3 Tutor Qualifications
All tutors employed or contracted by SBT Reading Tutors LLC possess appropriate qualifications, including:
- Relevant educational credentials in reading instruction, literacy, or related fields;
- Experience in teaching reading to students in the appropriate age range;
- Background checks and screening as required by applicable law;
- Ongoing professional development and training in reading instruction methods.
7.4 Service Availability
Services are available during our standard operating hours, which will be communicated to Users upon Account creation. We strive to accommodate scheduling requests but cannot guarantee availability at all requested times. Service availability may be limited during holidays, maintenance periods, or due to unforeseen circumstances.
8. Payment Terms and Billing
8.1 Service Fees
Users agree to pay all fees associated with their use of our Services according to the pricing structure in effect at the time of service delivery. Current pricing information is available on our Website and will be provided during the registration process. All fees are stated in United States dollars (USD).
8.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment through the following methods:
- Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) issued by United States-based financial institutions;

8.5 Automatic Renewal
Certain service packages may automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You will receive notice of upcoming renewals and the opportunity to cancel before charges are processed. By enrolling in automatically renewing services, you authorize us to charge your payment method for renewal fees.
8.6 Late Payments and Failed Transactions
If payment is not received when due or if a payment transaction fails:
- We may suspend or terminate Services until payment is received;
- Late fees may be assessed as permitted by applicable law;
- We may attempt to process payment using alternative payment methods on file;
- Continued non-payment may result in Account termination and collection activities.
8.7 Taxes

- Monthly or recurring services may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice;

9.2 Refund Policy

- Inappropriate conduct by User or Student;
- Technical issues that prevent service delivery;
- Business reasons requiring discontinuation of Services.
In the event of cancellation by the Company for reasons other than User violation of Terms, unused prepaid fees will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
10. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
10.1 Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from engaging in any of the following activities:
- Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations;
- Impersonating any person or entity or falsely representing your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Creating multiple Accounts for the same Student or creating Accounts using false information;
- Sharing Account credentials with unauthorized individuals;
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or networks;
- Interfering with or disrupting the operation of our Services or servers;
- Using our Services for any commercial purpose without our express written consent;
- Transmitting any viruses, malware, or other harmful computer code;
- Engaging in any form of harassment, abuse, or inappropriate conduct toward tutors or other Users;
- Recording, copying, or distributing tutoring sessions without express written consent;
- Using our Services to cheat on academic assignments or assessments;
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from our platform.
10.2 Academic Integrity
Users must maintain the highest standards of academic integrity when using our Services. Our tutoring is designed to help Students learn and improve their skills, not to complete assignments for them. Users agree that:
- Tutoring sessions will focus on teaching concepts and skills rather than completing homework;
- Students will complete their own assignments using knowledge gained through tutoring;
- Any assistance with homework will be educational in nature and will not constitute completion of the assignment;
- Users will not request tutors to complete assignments, tests, or other academic work on behalf of Students.
10.3 Respectful Communication
All Users must treat tutors, staff, and other Users with respect and courtesy. This includes:
- Using appropriate language during all communications;
- Respecting cultural, religious, and personal differences;
- Following instructions and guidance provided by tutors;
- Providing constructive feedback in a respectful manner;
- Reporting any concerns or issues through appropriate channels.
10.4 Technology Use Guidelines
When using our technology platform, Users must:
- Use compatible devices and software as specified in our technical requirements;
- Maintain a stable internet connection suitable for video conferencing;
- Ensure appropriate lighting and audio quality for effective tutoring sessions;
- Use the platform only for its intended educational purposes;
- Report technical issues promptly to our support team.
10.5 Consequences of Violations
Violations of this User Conduct section may result in:
- Warning and requirement for corrective action;
- Temporary suspension of Services;
- Permanently termination of Account and Services;
- Legal action if violations involve illegal activities;
- Forfeiture of any prepaid fees without refund.
11. Intellectual Property Rights

- The User Content does not contain any illegal, harmful, or inappropriate material;
- They have obtained all necessary consents and permissions for sharing the User Content.
12.3 License Grant
By providing User Content through our Services, you grant SBT Reading Tutors LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing tutoring services and improving our educational offerings. Our Services are designed to supplement, not replace, formal education. Students should continue to participate in their regular school programs and follow the guidance of their classroom teachers and school administrators.
14.4 Progress Monitoring
We provide regular progress reports and communicate with parents/guardians about Student advancement. However, progress varies among individuals, and we cannot guarantee specific timelines for improvement or achievement of particular goals.
15. Tutoring Sessions and Scheduling
15.1 Session Scheduling
Tutoring sessions are scheduled through our online platform based on tutor availability and User preferences. We strive to accommodate scheduling requests but cannot guarantee availability at all requested times.
15.2 Session Conduct
During tutoring sessions:
- Students should be in a quiet, distraction-free environment;
- Parents/guardians may observe sessions but should not interfere with instruction;
- Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes with appropriate notice;
- Technical difficulties should be reported immediately to our support team.
15.3 Missed Sessions
If a Student misses a scheduled session:
- Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled without penalty;
