Reading and writing tutoring programs at SBT Reading Tutors offer Elementary and Middle school students in grades 1-8 personalized instruction through online small-group sessions led by state-certified teachers.
The comprehensive literacy programs include elementary tutoring for grades 1-5, middle school tutoring for grades 6-8, specialized support for struggling readers, and enrichment programs for gifted students. All sessions use evidence-based methods in groups of 3-5 students grouped by actual reading level—not age—ensuring appropriate challenge without frustration.
All SBT Reading Tutors instructors are state-certified teachers trained by founder Jacqueline Thompson, Ed.S. (30 years experience, gifted certification). Every session is led by professional educators—not college students—ensuring consistent, research-backed instruction.
